Phu Bia Mining and PanAust recently celebrated the graduation of 110 of our Lao-national employees and contractors from the Supervisory Skills Development Program.

The 2021 and 2022 cohort had the highest female participation rate of 21 per cent since the program’s inception.

The program upskills Phu Bia Mining’s Lao-national workforce so they can transition into more senior roles within the company and supports PanAust’s localisation goals in Laos.

PanAust’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Daling Zheng congratulated the graduates saying their dedication to upskilling to further their careers will support future company growth in Laos.
