Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Across PanAust’s operations, employees are raising awareness of the importance of early detection throughout October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

According to the World Health Organization, one in eight women is diagnosed with breast cancer annually worldwide.

In support of the global campaign, the Mobile Maintenance department at PanAust’s Lao-registered company, Phu Bia Mining’s 班会赛金银矿 kicked things off with the refurbishment and ‘pink makeover’ of a service module.

According to Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, Rissal Massang the pink service module stands out at site and is a good ‘conversation starter’ helping raise awareness of the importance of early detection.

Throughout the month, Phu Bia Mining employees can attend a health information session emphasising the importance of regular health checks.
