ບໍລິສັດ ພູເບ້ຍ ມາຍນິງ ສະໜັບສະໜູນພາລະກິດຊ່ວຍເຫຼືອຜູ້ປະສົບໄພຕິດຄ້າງໃນຖໍ້າ ຢູ່ເມືອງລ້ອງແຈ້ງ ແຂວງໄຊສົມບູນ 

ບໍລິສັດ ພູເບ້ຍ ມາຍນິງ ໄດ້ໃຫ້ການສະໜັບສະໜູນພາລະກິດຊ່ວຍເຫຼືອຄົນລາວທີ່ຕິດຄ້າງໃນຖໍ້າ ຢູ່ເມືອງລ້ອງແຈ້ງ ແຂວງໄຊສົມບູນ. ເຫດການນີ້ໄດ້ສະທ້ອນໃຫ້ເຫັນເຖິງຄວາມສຳຄັນຂອງບໍລິສັດ ພູເບ້ຍ ມາຍນິງ ແລະ ອົງກອນອື່ນໆ ໃນການເຂົ້າມາຊ່ວຍເຫຼືອຢ່າງທັນການໃນສະຖານະການສຸກເສີນ. ບໍລິສັດ ພູເບ້ຍ ມາຍນິງ ແມ່ນບໍລິສັດບໍ່ແຮ່ທີ່ໃຫຍ່ທີ່ສຸດໃນແຂວງ ແລະ ໃນ ສປປ ລາວ ໂດຍປະກອບສ່ວນເຂົ້າໃນການພັດທະນາຊຸມຊົນ ແລະ ປະເທດຊາດ. 

ໃນສະຖານະການສຸກເສີນ ແລະ ໃຫ້ການກູ້ໄພໂດຍທັນທີນີ້, ບໍລິສັດ ພູເບ້ຍ ມາຍນິງ ໄດ້ສະໜອງອາຫານ, ນ້ຳດື່ມ, ເຕັ້ນ, ເຊືອກ, ອຸປະກອນໃຫ້ແສງສະຫວ່າງ ແລະ ອຸປະກອນຈຳເປັນອື່ນໆ ໃຫ້ແກ່ທີມກູ້ໄພໃນພື້ນທີ່. ນອກຈາກນັ້ນ ຍັງໄດ້ສະໜັບສະໜູນດ້ານການແພດສຸກເສີນ ໂດຍຈັດສົ່ງພະນັກງານແພດສຸກເສີນ 1 ຄົນ, ພະນັກງານດັບເພີງ ແລະ ກູ້ໄພ (FES) 2 ຄົນ, ພະນັກງານຮັກສາຄວາມປອດໄພ ແລະ ລົດພະຍາບານທີ່ມີອຸປະກອນຄົບຊຸດ ເພື່ອປິ່ນປົວ ແລະ ຂົນສົ່ງຜູ້ປະສົບໄພທີ່ອອກມາໄດ້. 

ຕາມຄຳຮ້ອງຂໍຂອງປະທານຄະນະກໍາມະການປົກຄອງເມືອງລ້ອງແຈ້ງ ໃນວັນທີ 25 ພຶດສະພາ, ຄະນະບໍລິຫານຂັ້ນສູງຂອງບໍລິສັດ ພູເບ້ຍ ມາຍນິງ ໄດ້ສົ່ງທີມງານສະເພາະກິດເຂົ້າໄປເຂດບໍລິເວນຖໍ້າ ເພື່ອປະເມີນສະຖານະການເບື້ອງຕົ້ນ ແລະ ຕິດຕາມຄວາມຄືບໜ້າຂອງການກູ້ໄພໃນພື້ນທີ່. 

ທີມສະໜັບສະໜູນຂອງບໍລິສັດ ພູເບ້ຍ ມາຍນິງ ໄດ້ເດີນທາງຮອດບ້ານນ້ຳຜາໃຫຍ່ ເມືອງລ້ອງແຈ້ງ ໃນເວລາປະມານ 5:20 ໂມງແລງ, ຊຶ່ງຫ່າງຈາກບໍ່ຂຸດຄົ້ນທອງ-ຄໍາ ພູຄຳຂອງບໍລິສັດ ປະມານ 40 ກິໂລແມັດ ໄປທາງທິດເໜືອ-ຕາເວັນອອກສ່ຽງເໜືອ. ບໍລິສັດຍັງໄດ້ສະໜອງຖັງອົກຊີເຈນ 10 ຖັງ ແລະ ເຄື່ອງກວດວັດແກັສ ເພື່ອກວດວັດລະດັບອົກຊີເຈນພາຍໃນຖ້ຳ ສຳລັບສະໜັບສະໜູນທີມຄົ້ນຫາຜູ້ສູນຫາຍຈຳນວນ 7 ຄົນ. 

ຕະຫຼອດໄລຍະຂອງພາລະກິດກູ້ໄພ, ພະນັກງານຂອງບໍລິສັດ ພູເບ້ຍ ມາຍນິງ ໄດ້ປະຈຳການພ້ອມສະໜັບສະໜູນທີມກູ້ໄພ ແລະ ໃຫ້ການປິ່ນປົວ ພ້ອມຂົນສົ່ງຜູ້ລອດຊີວິດຈາກຖ້ຳໄປຍັງໂຮງໝໍໃກ້ຄຽງ. 

ໃນລະຫວ່າງການກູ້ໄພ, ຜູ້ສູນຫາຍ 5 ຄົນ ໃນຈຳນວນ 7 ຄົນ ໄດ້ຖືກຄົ້ນພົບ ແລະ ຊ່ວຍເຫຼືອອອກຈາກຖ້ຳຢ່າງປອດໄພ. ໃນວັນທີ 7 ມິຖຸນາ, ບັນດາທີມກູ້ໄພໄດ້ຍຸດຕິພາລະກິດ ແລະ ພະນັກງານຂອງບໍລິສັດ ພູເບ້ຍ ມາຍນິງ ໄດ້ກັບຄືນພາກສະໜາມ. ປັດຈຸບັນ ລັດຖະບານປິດກັ້ນພື້ນທີ່ດັ່ງກ່າວເພື່ອບໍ່ໃຫ້ປະຊາຊົນເຂົ້າໄປ ເນື່ອງຈາກຄວາມສ່ຽງຕໍ່ທີມກູ້ໄພໃນການເຂົ້າໄປໃນຖ້ຳອີກຄັ້ງຍັງຢູ່ໃນລະດັບສູງ ແລະ ຖືວ່າບໍ່ປອດໄພ. 

ຂໍຂອບໃຈພະນັກງານຂອງບໍລິສັດ ພູເບ້ຍ ມາຍນິງ ທຸກຄົນທີ່ໄດ້ມີສ່ວນຮ່ວມໃນພາລະກິດກູ້ໄພຄັ້ງນີ້ ໃນຂະນະທີ່ພວກເຮົາຍຶດໝັ້ນວ່າ “ຄວາມປອດໄພ ແມ່ນບູລິມະສິດອັນດັບໜຶ່ງຂອງພວກເຮົາ”!  

Phu Bia Mining (PBM) provided significant support for the recent cave rescue in Longcheng District, Xaisomboun Province, for Lao people who had become trapped.  This highlighted the importance of PBM and other organisations stepping up to provide essential support during an emergency.  PBM is the largest mining company in the Province and Lao, providing a significant contribution to our communities and the Lao nation. 

At this time of emergency and rapid response, PBM provided support to the on-the-ground rescue teams with food and water supplies, tents, ropes, lighting equipment, etc, and emergency medical support, including one paramedic, two fire and emergency services (FES) personnel, security personnel, and a fully equipped ambulance to treat and transport survivors.  

At the request of the Longcheng District Governor on 25 May, PBM Senior Management deployed a special team to the cave to conduct an initial assessment of the situation and other on-the-ground progress. 

The PBM support team arrived at Ban Namphagnai, Longcheng District, around 5.20 PM, approximately 40 km north-north-east of PBM’s Phu Kham Copper-Gold mine. The company also provided 10 oxygen cylinders and a gas detector to measure oxygen levels during the cave rescue, supporting the team searching for the 7 missing people inside the cave. 

Throughout the rescue mission, the PBM personnel were on standby to support the rescue teams and treat and transport cave survivors to the nearby hospital. 

During the rescue, five of the seven missing persons were located and assisted out of the cave. On 7 June, the rescue teams were stood down, and PBM personnel returned to site. The location is now sealed from public access by the Government as the level of risk to rescue teams re-entering the cave is high, and is deemed unsafe
